Starting in May, we begin fishing the fertile waters of Lake Michigan from North Muskegon. The fishing starts fast as the migrations bring thousands of north bound fish through our area.
June is a transition month and a tough month to predict, but good fishing is available.
July and August are the best times to enjoy big lake fishing. Mostly calm waters and predictable fish locations combine for some very memorable catches. Big chrome Kings and Steelhead make up the majority of the catch, Browns, Cohos and Lakers round out the harvest.
September is trophy time, big fish in close and ready to fight. This isn't for the faint of heart. The mature Kings charge into Muskegon Lake and can provide unmatched action. This unique fishery never gets too rough to fish, and is the largest protected fishing area in the Great Lakes.
The 35' Viking Sportsfisherman offers unmatched room for large parties of anglers. The fly bridge and enclosed cabin offer comfort, no matter the conditions. We provide all the tackle and knowledge needed to ensure a fun and successful trip for all. We work very hard to ensure no details are overlooked.

The extra time provided with the 8 hour charter allows us to reach some of the best off shore structure in all of southern Lake Michigan!
Winter steelheading begins in earnest in November and is steady through a "typical" winter. The peak for numbers of both fish and fisherman is April. Double digit hook-ups are common. All equipment from the 18' custom jet sled to the hand tied rods are thoroughly tested and are top quality to ensure a fun and productive river experience. I provide everything needed for fishing, and clean all the kept fish. Catch and release is the clients choice.
Trips are normally for 2 anglers, but arrangements can be made for additional people.
